Baked potato bar satisfies for a win in March
A baked potato bar is a buffet-style meal that is customizable and good for a crowd. - Wash and scrub potatoes thoroughly. Let dry.
- With a knife make a few slices, about halfway in to the potato. Cover the skin with a thin layer of crisco or olive oil.
- Wrap each potato in a large square of aluminum foil.
- Let bake in 425 degree oven for 60-75 minutes or until soft to touch.
Notes
Potatoes could also be microwaved. If so complete step one and make small slices in potatoes. Do not cover in oil and foil. Microwave 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through and checking for doneness from 10-15 minutes.
